It is a well-known fact that 3D printers are becoming increasingly important over the past years, and it seems to keep being this way in the future. This technology indeed has to be improved, nevertheless, the exponential use of them by the industries is undeniable.
Furthermore, the shoe industry is becoming more popular due to the actual trends in society. The combination of the two themes is the main reason for what the project is about.
The main goal of it was to make a prototype of an aesthetic shoe with an original system to set it, made by 3D printers. Thus, to complete the project a technological process was followed, with some variations due to specific methods that have to be used in the shoe designing process.
First, the design was made, then it was modeled using Blender, a 3D program, and finally, with it, the prototype and the render images were got. When the prototype was finished, a survey was prepared to know which opinion the society had about it.
After we’ve got the results, we reach the conclusion that the hypothesis was true. The shoe was able to be done under the conditions of being aesthetically attractive and having a good method to adjust it.
We cannot assure whether in our close future 3D printers’ technology will become more important, nevertheless, it is very likely to happen.
